BioLong time SG-1 fan (since S2 started its syndication), but not as old fandom person. Came into fandom when I was bored and home with the flu when Season 8 was airing on SciFi and started wandering around this strange "internet" place. And...here I've stayed. I was once involved in one other fandom, but nowhere near to this extent (back when the internet used "listservs" to communicate obsessions--and we walked uphill both ways in the snow, and liked it!)
I started playing with fanfic to dust off my writing muse, and well, it's dusted and I'm still here with a half dozen plot bunnies in my head! Silly muse. I like to talk about Stargate, well, actually, I can babble on anything, but I'm trying to restrict myself to Stargate here at lj, heh.
My passion is gen fic, and the team in basically any incarnation, although Daniel's my favorite, so I'll veer more towards those seasons when he's around. Sam's a close second of the fabfour, five six (seven? hee!). But my flist runs the gambit of fandom, and whatever floats your flotation device of choice works for me.
My bizarre knowledge of SG-1 trivia and anal tendencies led me to help the Stargate Wiki with transcripts in Season Nine, and I'm still a big part of the wiki there. I'm also one of the co-admins of![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif?v=92.1)
redial_the_gate, where we're rewatching all ten seasons of SG-1. Yes, really. You should go check it out, it's loads of fun.
Like I said, my main focus is SG-1, but I watch SGA too. Other shows I enjoy: Star Wars (okay, not a show, but anyway), The Amazing Race, Heroes, Numb3rs, NCIS, Lost BSG, and the latest DW, Torchwood, Project Runway and...well, basically if it's a tv show, I've likely heard of it.
